As part of the excitement surrounding the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, a collective of of very diverse organisations, including sports associations for paralympic players paralympic players (such as CAPSAAA), associations that defend inclusion through sport such as Panathlon International district France, the Fédération Française du handisport, the Fédération internationale du Sport adapté, etc., associations of doctors, such as SANITUS international, international peace organisations (such as the NGO PANGEE and the Universal Esperanto Association, with ECOSOC status), DPOs (organisations of people with disabilities), such as the Association pour la prise en compte des in public and private policies, or the Groupement de Coopération sanitaire du Santé du Réseau Prévention Main île-de-France, etc., came together around a project for a Congress in the wake of the Paris Paralympic Games, on 9 September 2024, under the patronage of the President of the Union of the Comoros, Mr Azali ASSOUMANI.
